Massanutten Presbyterian Church is excited to bring back VBS (Vacation Bible School) this summer! Children preschool through completed fifth grade are invited to join us June 4-7 – right after Rockingham County Public Schools get out – for Discovery on Adventure Island!
Schedule:
- Thursday, Friday, & Saturday: 9:00 am – Noon
- Sunday Worship: 10:30 am (optional, but encouraged!)
From a whimsical lighthouse on an enchanted island, your Kids (Explorers) will be guided by a Lighthouse Keeper and Beacon the Puffin on a quest to find three mysterious Infinity Lanterns. Using map coordinates from their Reference Book (the Bible), children will uncover clues to find each lantern and discover how God’s light shines through stories of familiar biblical characters from both the Old and New Testaments. Together, we will learn about God’s light and love, and how to share God’s light and love in the world. Daily activities will include:
- Music
- Stories
- Bible adventures
- Crafts
- Recreation
- Snacks
Spots are limited for our first year back – don’t wait to register!
The registration deadline is Friday, May 15th. Registration is $10 per child, and scholarships are available.
You may download a form here, print it out, and return it to the church. Printed forms are also available at the church in the Narthex. Registration forms may be dropped off at the church or mailed to Massanutten Presbyterian Church, 50 Indian Trail Rd., Penn Laird, VA 22846.
