Adult Sunday School Classes
October 22 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
An event every week that begins at 9:00am on Sunday, repeating until May 27, 2018
Adults will have opportunity to attend one of 3 different classes.
Adults (Room 119 – Covenant Class)
Covenant Class participants gather each week to engage in a specific study for 4-6 weeks. These studies may focus on Scripture, a theological theme, history, mission or social concern. This year will begin with a 6 week study of the Reformation, as we move toward its 5ooth anniversary, and in October will use a book by Adam Hamilton to guide a focus on Moses.
Adults (Room 117 – Faithful Conversations)
Faithful Conversations gathers around subjects that change on a weekly or semi-weekly basis and focus on a variety of topics selected by participants. The class has adopted a conversational style of learning even as volunteers share in the opportunity to lead that conversation each week.
Adults (Gathering Area – Parenting with Love and Logic)
This class is not just for parents, but also for teachers, aunts, uncles and grand- parents. It is based on a book by the same name, written by Foster Cline and Jim Fay and will be led by Sarah Lopacinski, mother of two and twenty-eight year teaching veteran. Participants will explore a method of parenting focused on raising self-confident, motivated and responsible kids through the use of loving discipline.
